Hi
I have a P4 2.4 512mb Ram running XP pro.It will run fine until I turn the PC off for the night.The next day when I turn it back on it says it cannot find the OS.After trying to restore,etc I do a reinstall and it works fine until the next day when the same thing happens and on and on.I thought it may have been the HD as it was slowly dying but I have tried a different HD and the same thing happens.It seems that if the PC has been left without power for a length of time it loses the boot sector or OS or whatever it cannot find.
Any ideas on what is causing this.Any help appreciated.
