missing subfolders within the pst file

hi

recently i have my transfered my PST to another new PC but found out few of my important subfolders within the pst file missing. my old pc was infected with virus and scanned the pst before transfering.

is it the virus which has affected the missing subfolders or there may be other reasons.

yuor help will be highly appriciated.
