by shazily.munnawar . Updated 19 years, 10 months ago

I’m a subscriber to the MIT’s weekly infotech update via my free yahoo mail account. This morning i.e. 28th, July 2006 around 10:57 am (+5:00 GMT) when i clicked on the latest stories in the update, I got redirected to a site on geocities free web page with the following text:

“Hacked By Mr.CrackerZ”

page link ->
http://www.geocities.com/mr_lord_sadler/own.txt

i was redirected from these pages on the weekly update:

http://www.technologyreview.com/read_article.aspx?id=17212

http://www.technologyreview.com/read_article.aspx?id=17221

http://www.technologyreview.com/read_article.aspx?id=17207

http://www.technologyreview.com/read_article.aspx?id=17199

I reported the incident to MIT’s tech feedback.

Lets see what they have to say ’bout the poo-poo
