I know that you can mix RDRAM speeds but what about modules sizes? Can you run 128MB in slot 0 and 256MB in slot 1? I have a pc with that config and when I boot the pc in the morning I hear three beeps and then get “Memory Size Decrease” and then am asked togo BIOS setup. The BIOS reads the memory correctly and after I save the changes any reboots or power downs return ok. However if I leave the pc powered down for 10-20 min. I get the same three beeps and the message. Called tech support and they said that memeory modules need to be the same size? I’m running Intel 820 chip set with latest firmware. Thanks for you help.
