mnmsrvc causing page fault in mst120.dll

by nacl . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

I am running NetMeeting 3.01 as a helpdesk tool for 55 users. It is running successfully on NT 4.0, Win2K, & Win95B clients with IE5 or IE5.5. I have all clients set to “Automatically Accept Calls”, “Remote Desktop Sharing” is enabled and is “Activated”. I can gain remote control of all users. The problem is that when 2 of the Win95B clients reboot they always get the following error: “MNMSRVC caused an invalid page fault in module MST120.DLL at 0157:6c525a49”. This error occurs as the service is trying to start, which is before network logon has been established. Once Windows is running, I can execute MNMSRVC from START > RUN and the service will start. The icon will then appear in the SYSTRAY and Remote Desktop Sharing will be Activated.MS has a TechNet article Q243151 that shows the same error, but it is referring to stopping Remote Desktop Sharing before trying to run Windows Setup. Help!
