Trying to upgrade Gateway 6/400 with new Intel D815EEA mobo and P-III/900 processor, system will not boot. Mobo POSTs okay (1 beep, four green diagnostic lights on back), but system hangs after starting to boot.
Someone suggested I would have to replace the OS (currently Win 98se); is this agreed?
Any other suggestions?
