I have an app that uses uses com1 to directly go to a modem, bypassing any windows drivers. I am using a US Robotics 56K fax modem ( called v anything in the industry ) I can use the atdt phone # >com1 in hyperterminal and successfully connect. But if I go to a command line all i get is lights flashing on modem and no dial tone. Any help would be appreciated.
