Modem Driver for Win2000

By ronnray ·
Q1. My laptop was previously running on Win98 and I've changed it to Win2000 but I can't seem to get the correct modem Driver. Its an Internal Modem and I can't find it from Twinhead (the model of the Laptop) neither can I find it on the Web.?

Q2. How do I donwload the Win2000 update patch into a Disk and use it on my laptop since I can't access the internet without the correct Modem Driver?

Thank You

Look on the driver disk, as it could have the CHIPSET. If you know the chipset, then you can use a generic driver untill Twinhead release their version. Another would be to email them, as they probably know.

2. Drivers usuallcy can fit on 1 disk, but.. you ccan do the old fashioned spanned floppy method

What model is your modem? Try www.driverguide.com and see if they have in their databse the modem driver you require. It is free to register and download from there. Hope this helps.
