Modem in Linux

Hi all member

Please give me a answer for my problem.
It is my modem & my friend modem is not detect by
Linux RedHat 9.0.
Model of my modem is Genius 56K & My Friend modem is
Rockwell 56K ( both of them is Internal Modem).
Cd driver of them have not Linux driver.

Ask the linux vendor or ask to linux supportfor the modem driver or see the Hardware Support list of RH Linux 9.0 whether it support?

Try giving host IP & Client IP address, it will detect as a generic modem as there are no drivers for modem for Linux. Reliance Mobile activated as modem has been recognised by RHL Fedora Core1. I have downloaded Xine with the help of Reliance Mobile.

i found driver for all winmodem for linux.
