I have a Rockwell HCF 56K PCI modem, and Call Waiting. When I use a dialup AOL connection, AOL will not disconnect when I get an incoming call. I have all the boxes for “disable call waiting” unchecked, both on AOL and on the modem configuration in Device Maager. I was told that I need to get in touch with the manufacturer of my modem to edit the modem strings to make it more sensitive to the call waiting beeps … however, I can’t find a phone number or any form of contact information for Rockwell. Can anyone help me get my modem to disconnect when I get an incoming call? HELP!!!!!!
