Modifying a existing SSL cert on SBS 2003/ IIS 6

Hi, I was just wondering how you modify an existing SSL cert on SBS 2003. The current one that work is using is causing problems as the address it uses is the server’ domain name and this is conflicting with the public url for external mail access.

Is it possible to modify the current cert or do you have to remove it and redeploy a new one?
Also would this in any way effect comunication with the ISP?

    Thanks,
    Ger

It is also affecting people accessing mail via pop3. I have our website being hosted by someone else and I have mail in house so I have mx records pointed to our IP. When I first set up mail, It set everyone to have user@mail.domainname.com e-mails. Since the e-mail has been outsourced for years that was a problem. I changed on internet wizard so that it would be user@domainname.com. Now the certificate being issued is from domainname.com and it won’t install on clients as it says that the certifate is being issued by someone other than domainname.com which it is. It is being issued by mail.domainname.com. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks
