Modifying partition sizes on the fly.

By D Squared ·
There is a great utility out called partition magic for changing partion sizes without loosing data. Unfortunatly this does not work under NT server.
I am upgrading my hard drives on my NT server to 30 GB I want to resize the current partition (not including the system partition) so that they have more space?

I have recently downloaded a great utility from Western Digial that allows you to resize partitions. It is called life guard and should run under NT. I used this myself on my home system that runs Win 2000.

Go to your HDD's website and down load their disk utilities. Many of them support WIN NT and other OS'S. Some may even give you the valued option of keeping your data or at least doing a drive image.
