Monitor activity for TCP/IP printer

I have a Minolta 2200 color laserjet network printer. How can I monitor the activity of the printer? I mean I want to view who printed which document or file and when. I know it is possible to configure this from ‘Printers/Server Properties’ but is uncomfortable to view those logs from Event Viewer. Is it other way (make a different folder, not System log, a free software or anything else) for make my life easier?
