Friend's .icc file will not work on your system.........

Your system is different than his.

If you do not have a calibration option on your system, then you have a different graphics card than he does. Are the latest drivers for your card installed correctly?

Monitor calibration is a very personal thing for each user ...

by OldER Mycroft In reply to Monitor Calibration

When the calibration tool is used, any adjustments made depend on the system that is generating the graphical image, the monitor(s) displaying that image, and the user who is looking at the image.

No two users can possibly have the exact same visual acuity so settings generated by one user cannot be transferred to another user's system.
