Usually monitor jitter is caused by a strong magnetic or electrical field.

If you move the monitor a few inches either direction and the shaking either goes away, or gets worse, then a magnetic or electrical field is the problem.

If the shaking is constant, then you either have a bad high voltage supply in the monitor, or the AC power has a lot of voltage change.

Or try a top quality shielded monitor cable.

Try going into display properties by right clicking on the desktop and selecting properties. Select the settings tab and then select advanced at the bottom. In the adapter tab you will want to try different screen refresh rates. This usually takes care of the problem. If not then you could be experiencing some interference.

Or your monitor is on the DOWN side and you may need a new one :-{

As well as the shielded monitor cable suggested above, you can also try a shielded monitor box. Basically it is a metal box that you put around the sides and top of the monitor to try and stop electrical interference...won't really work that much...but might be enough to make that little flicker disappear.

Unless your brothers name is Qusay and daddy is Saddam, @ which juncture I'd say your monitor is fine and it's you that's shaking in your boots.

Sry, just a wee bit of net name humor.

Try the Degauss feature most new monitors have built in (looks like a large magnet U w/ a / line through it), it will de-magnetize the metal in the cabinet surrounding the tube.
