My emachines (model number 3210) monitor just randomly stopped working (although after i opened up the tower..)
Yesterday i opened up the tower so i can insert some new memory (but it ended up being to big and incompatible so i took it out!).
Once i put the tower back together, put back all the wires etc.. my monitor wouldnt switch on!
The green LCD light flashed and it says on the screen that ‘theres no power input, check cable’.. but somehow for all the 4 years i have had this machine this message always used to appear but then it used to continue and switch on! There never been any issue with the cables and even this time just to double check i have ensured all cables are in places.. so why is my monitor not working? the light jus keeps flashing and the screen is black as if switched off.
Do you think that while i was trying to insert the new memory a wire might have got knocked out of place? but i was very careful..
please help!
