Monitor not working

Have LG monitor. attached to UPS supply. When powered on the monitor BLINKS once and then goes blank.
Everything else is working fine [CPU, Speaker etc]
Plz. suggest some solution

  Plug your monitor into your normal electrical socket and see if it comes on.

  As suggested ..
  connect it into a Power supply other than UPS, also do check if its connected to a DVI or VGA connector. In that case you might have to choose the AUTO setting on the monitor.
  If still nothing comes try connecting to another PC or laptop.

  It is also possible for video card could be bad. Is it a built in video card?

  you could always trade the out cables you’re using.

  try connecting it to a system using 800 x 600 or 640 x 480 resolution. The monitor may not handle the resolution the computer is using.
  Also check for bent pins on the VGA or DVI cable, , if its a video card, you may want to reseat the card.
  If the monitor has DVI and VGA you may want to confirm the source is set correctly (VGA/DVI/Composite/SVIDEO) from the monitor menu.
