Monitor PC usage

By stergios_nik ·
Hello.

I have a Windows network (65 PCS). I want to monitor PC usage. We are interested in producing reports that will show how many PCs are in use (logged on) at a specific point in time.

I.e. The report should present that on 10 of April 2005 at 13.00 o'clock 10 PCs out of 65 are logged on. If possible we want to display on a Graph for a specific time interval (i.e. from 21:00 to 21.30) the total number of PCs that were used (logged) at that specific time interval.

Sample Graph

Time
09.00 *********** (11 PCs logged on)
09.10 *************** (15 PCs logged on)
09.20 ******************** (21 PCs logged)
09.30 *********
09.40 **************
09.50 *********
10.00 ******************
10.10 *****************

Do you know any special software that can produce this kind of reports?

Thank you in advance.

NetMonitor, LanLogger are the software you are looking for. I don't know are they avail nowadays or not. I used that 4 years Back. If you do not find this applications then you can easily build this sort of software by using simple FoxPro, C or VB.Net. Its very easy thing to build. No need to buy put your one of the programmer to build it. It may take only 2 or 3 dyas for it.

Try below software its usefull for you.

http://www.download.com/Track4Win/3000-2648_4-10291468.html?tag=lst-0-1

http://www.track4win.com/

Track4win can monitor multi-computer activity and Internet usage, track Web site address (URL) visited, and log work time on each software application. It can monitor a single PC, or all workstations in a network (corporate/office LAN, remote WAN, or Internet). You can use any computer as Server to monitor all computers, in which the monitoring agent is installed in a total stealth mode and runs invisibly. It implements real-time and out-of-office monitoring. You may select a specific group of computers and programs to monitor, and export reports to HTML. It also works with Terminal Services.

It's for employee monitoring, anti-Internet abuse, Employee Internet management, and project time tracking in workplace. It's also for Internet tracking and parental control at home. It can prevent Internet misuse of employees and children. As also a time tracker tool, it helps employer knows who are the productive employees, and parents know how much time kids spend on game and Internet surfing.
