i have a dell computer that had a harddrive problem so i was messing around with it in bios and tried switching from primary to secondary and saved and rebooted and then it froze on the dell load up screen, the monitor worked then but after another reboot it wouldnt show anything from the computer.. i know the monitor works because i tested it on my laptop. so i think its something wrong with what i did.. the monitor will say it is in power save mode and to activate the pc to continue but when i turn the pc on nothing happens and the monitor light turns orange but when i unplug the monitor the green light comes on and it tells me the cable isnt hooked in. i tried resetting bios by taking the cmos battery out and unplugging the power for an hour but nothing happened. what should i do???
