Monitor refresh rate

By marcson98 ·
I just purchased a Dell D1028L monitor. In the specifications for it there are three factory preset modes for an 800X600 resolution. They are MO5 at 60%, MO6 at 75%, and MO7 at 85%. There seems to be an indication that these are somehow adjustable. The monitor is currently set at MO5 60% and I would like to reset it to MO7 85%. Does anybody know how I would do this?

Warning in order for this function to work you need to have your MONITOR recognized Properly =>right click on my computer =>Properties=>device manager or Hardware tab device manager (w2k and XP)=>check under the Monitor section if the're is written "Dell D1028L monitor" if not go to dell web site and download the correct monitor driver after that go again in the Monitor section of the Device manager => click on your current monitor and click properties => then choose Update driver and point to the downloded Driver from Dell

Right click on your desktop free space=>Properties=>go to the last tab Settings=>Click on advanced button=>go to Adaptor tab => Down there are your current refresh settings => when changing them choose the option - Dont restart
