I have, asus p5ad2 mobo w/1g ram and
an intel p4 3.0 mhz cpu
2- 60g sata drives
asus extreme ax600xt w/128m ram
mitsubishi diamond pro87txm (tfm8705) 17inch
win xp /sp2
My problem, initial setup set the screen
res to 640-480
some programs will only load at 800-600 min when I reset the res to 800 useing the ATI ‘display’ tab the system acts like I have a 21 inch screen. I can scroll w/mouse off the edge of the screen to see whats there – but – why ??
if I go to 1024 its like I have a 12 inch
monitor, lots of black around the edges.
or – if I use the ATI prog. to set the res
at 800 useing the ‘display’ tab it too will
go to 12 inch monitor size.
if I use the win screen/properties/settings/slide
bar it goes to smaller. and the slide bar no
longer alows a return to less than 800.
I have tried microsoft and nec/mitsu for new
drivers to no avail on their web sites.
the monitor has the 1024 capability but whats
with the smaller/larger screen crap.??
what am I not doing ??
