Monitor Setup

By TimHunter ·
We have a small dental office. We have a pc that runs a software program that shows all our appointments for the day. We would like to have 2 additional monitors connected to his pc and have them throughout the office so we can see appointments easily, we would mount them up on the wall. Anybody have suggestions?

Multi monitors via cat5

by LarryD4 In reply to Monitor Setup

PC with software needs a network card that can support 4 monitors. You may need to upgrade the video card or get another one.

You need a way to extend the monitor connection to the location. If this is going to be in other offices/rooms etc. I suggest video over cat5. Cat 5 is the cheapest to run. here are some examples of the hardwre you would need.

You will need a video over cat5 device for each monitor you want to extend.
