I just assemble a new PC. The monitor frequently goes to sleep (S3 state) with flickered led, and the system hanged. It’s like the PC powering off the monitor, but this happen while I’m typing! I’ve set all power management options to “Always On” with no screensaver. I also disable “Hibernation”. The APM in BIOS is disabled. I’ve updated Win2K with SP3, DirectX8a, VGA [G-Force2 400MX] driver with the latest detonator; mobo [MSI – VIA chipset] driver are up-to-date.
I’ve clean-install the OS twice with no luck. Please help.
