I have an older style computer running windows 98 and my monitor will not come on but the hdd and other drives power up. The monitor connection is on the motherboard via cable connection. I have tried pushing the cable onto the motherboard to make sure it is connected. I was wondering if the power to the motherboard itself could be faulty.I have tried the monitor on another computer and it works ok on that.
