I have a customer that wants to be able to monitor the traffic that hits his server and uses the application that is on there. He wants to have stats like it was a Web server.
The issues.
The server is on a closed network. No new applications can be added to the server. The application monitors these stats but the database is locked and the information has to be hand poked into another database or spreadsheet. The vendor will not release the database code.
The question.
Is there a way to set this up in Windows NT 4 (current) and in Windows 2000 (future) to a log file or another type of file?
