Motherboard failed but need to recover hard drive data from sony V laptop

I have Sony Vaio laptop and it stopped functioning because of motherboard failure .Now it not getting started at all and I need to recover all my hard drive data . I took out the hard drive from the laptop . But i dont know what to do now ?? Can anyone suggest me what to do to recover the data from my hard drive ?
