I would like to mount a CDROM containing our archives on a Netware server.
The archive contains word documents using long filenames.
The remote CDROM is mapped to a windows drive letter on each Windows 2000 workstations. But the long filenames are dropped and replaced with short 8.3 names.
Novell says :
CDROM.NLM was not originally designed to support long name spaces (on http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/2908888.htm )
If I upgrade this netware 4.10 server to a new version (5.1, 6 or 6.5), will it solve this problem ?
