i just installed my new DSL connection at home. Have a Dell 4100, 3com homelink DSL modem PCI. I can connect to the NET but if I try to download a file it locks up my PS/2 mouse and IE 5.5. I can still move around in windows 98 by using the hot keys.
I obviously have the connection and software up and running since all the bell and whistles tell me I am connected. I can surf until I hit a page with lots of graphics then it locks as stated above also. I do have some of my computers networked together with NetBEUI put have not shared the connection yet.
