Mouse Driver INI file Instructions

By JoBriKa ·
Where can I locate information on mousedrv.ini setting. We have a three button logitec mouse that is misbehaving. Unfortunately, we no longer have the software. This is a MS-Dos application, for our leather cutting table. The mouse is no longer responding correctly to the mouse button combinations; three buttons depressed together terminates the commande, Left and Center open a box to mark a flaw. INI file no longer reflects and commands for the third button.

Mouse Driver INI file Instructions

I would start by backing up the present mousedrv.ini file.

Then, download and install the DOS driver from Logitech.

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=downloads/software&CRID=320&contentid=6004&OSID=8&countryid=19&languageid=1

Remove any spaces from the pasted link.

For may DOS programs, the mouse functions and button assignments are handled within the program itself. The mouse driver only provides the interface between the port and the mouse.
