When I access the virtual DOS command in Windows 2000, the mouse kinda-sorta stops working. (I am using the DOS “edit” program as an example) I can see the pointer and when I click any of the mouse buttons it makes a small patch of the screen change colors but it doesn’t activate the drop down menus. I can still activate the drop down menus via the “alt” key. I don’t have any problems with the mouse under any of the other MS operating systems, just WIN_2K.
