I am upgrading a Machine to Windows XP from Windows 98. While
installing the installation gave me a error that the sermouse.sys file
could not be found on the the XP CD (True). I skipped the file the
rest of the upgrade were OK, but now the mouseis not working and I
get the error that a problem is preventing windows from accurately
checking the license for this computer: Error Code: 0x8004005
I have phone support, they can’t help as yet and my client is losing
big bucks as he is an architect and his HP Plotter is connected to
this machine and now he can print of work. Can somebody please help !!
