Mouse Shadow / Transistion Effects

By darren.stradins ·
I'm after a way to automatically disable the mouse shadow in Windows 2000, and also to disable the Menu Transition effects in Windows 2000.

Any automated method (I've tried Reg pokes to no avail! - doesn't always work), scripting etc etc.

Mouse Shadow / Transistion Effects

For the mouse shadow... to to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Mouse --> and in the Pointers section, there's a checkmark in the box "Enable pointer shadow" . Uncheck that box.

Can you describe further what you mean by the "Menu Transition effects?"
