Move boot partition off RAID5

By riddler1 ·
I need to move an XP Pro boot partition off of a RAID5 (3x250GB) to a single drive. How do I do it? The boot Partition (C:) is about 25GB and the new drive is an 80GB WD SATA3.0

Western Digital drive utilities copied the C: partition over to the new 80GB, but I can't remove/delete the 25GB partition on the RAID5 or rename the new 80GB drive to C: to stop it from booting to the RAID5.

Any help would be great.

How much data is on the RAID array?

Copy it somewhere else, **** out the array, recreate it and start over...use the 80GB as the boot drive, so on, so forth.

Somehow i fugured it out. Changed the boot sequence to the 80GB first, then the RAID. When the machine started - the 80GB was now the c: Whatever happened, worked!
