I just had a h/d go bad so I took one from and old machine and installed it as a replacement. Problem is that the old machine had a VGA card with Win95 configured accordingly. It’s now in an HP Vectra with onboard SVGA (Cirrus Logic). Win95 starts up ok but video is illegible. I thought Safe Mode would start it in VGA mode so I could change the driver but video display still illegible. Any idea how I can get this puppy to work?
