Moving boot partition

by quake kid . Updated 24 years, 10 months ago

My win2k system is set up like this:

primary disk: 20gig
C: partition (boot partition and an old copy of windows 2k)

secondary disk: 40gig
D: partition (data)
E: partition (working windows partiton)

I would like to take the 20gig drive out of the machine but that is the disk I boot from.

How would I go about moving the boot system to the 40gig drive so I can remove the 20gig from the system?

Can I even do this w/o reinstalling win2k?

Points to whoever can tell me how to dothis w/o reinstalling or breaking any of my settings.
