Moving PDC to standalone different doma

I want to move an nt server that was a pdc in a different domain. The domain names are actually the same. We had 2 different locations and the doamins were standalones. Do I need to re-install nt server and what is the easiest way? Also any specifics (hardware0to be aware that might need to be re-installed.
