Moving Quick Launch in Win 7

By ving ·
As you know, XP gave us the option of creating a seperate Guick Launch tool bar on the left side of the Task Bar. XP also allowed me to grab only the QL bar and drag it to the left side of the screen. I have not been able to do this without taking the whole task bar also. Does anyone know of a way to Seperate the QL bar from the Task Bar and be able to accomplish the same thing?

You can create as many toolbars as you want.

Just create another.

If you want to separate them on the taskbar, unlock the taskbar first, then drag.

Same goes for dragging it off the taskbar to the desktop, if this is possible. I'm not sure if you can or not, as 7 is built differently from XP.

Edit: Apparently you cannot move the toolbars at all. You can only move the entire taskbar. A choice for you may be one of the many launch bar or dock apps available. (E.g., rocketdock.)
