Try this

by HereInOz In reply to Mozilla data entry error ...

Reply courtesy of the Firefox forums:

1. Clear your cache [Tools->Options->Privacy->Cache->clear]
solved? If not, try step 2.

2. Type about:config in the location bar, then look for the line browser.xul.error_pages.enabled and change its value to true.
This will solve your problem for sure, if not, try applying this step again, and restart firefox.

3. Disable PeerGuardian. [The second step will prevent the annoying pop-up from appearing; for a reason I don't get, it doesnt work for some folks]

Not guaranteed, but worth a try.

Also, my thoughts, if you have installed FireFox over an existing installation of Firefox, try un-installing it, make sure the folder: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox is deleted. Then delete the Mozilla folder in C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data as well.

This will totally remove your profiles and will allow you to install Firefox with a completely clean slate.

Make sure to export your favourites to a bookmark.html file before you **** Firefox away.

You can access the support forums using other browsers, too, they don't discriminate :-)

Thank you HereInOz. I removed every file including Firefox. I then re-installed Firefox, and restarted. To my surprise, it worked. Thank you for taking time to help a computer challanged person.
