Mozilla Firefox 1 inch grey bar from bottom with red arrow pointing up

This is my first post. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a answer. When I start Mozilla Firefox there is a one inch grey bar at the bottom with a red arrow pointing upwards.
I cannot get rid of it. Please someone help me I really perfer Mozilla over Internet Explorer.

Any help is greatly appreciated..

Need to remove Firefox file

To get rid of the red arrow at the bottom of your Firefox browser window, remove this file:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\chrome\s4ffxtbr.manifest

My understanding is that file is some kind of remnant from a spyware toolbar.

its an add-on conflict in firefox. disable all add-ons in firefox and restart it. u can re-enable the addons. works for me.

i also have this same problem on my macbook... i am all about personalization and this bugs me.. Where do i find this file and how do i delete it? i am sick of it.
