Mozilla plugins

By sbhuck ·
I have installed all the Mozilla plugins i could fine, or the ones sent to me. Some problems:
1. Ligos Indeo, installed, but no Npindeo.dll
2. Yamaha MIDI Plugin 1.0.1 had a error message that it was not on this server. A search of the web did not come up with anything.
Question, do I have to keep all the things I downloaded, or can delete someof them after extrating part which went into Mozilla Plugin folder?
Thanks Wilbur Huck

Hi Bill,

I don't have an answer for your errors.

As to saving or deleting downloaded files, it is up to you.
Technically, you do not need the installer after installing the plug-in or program.

That said, I save EVERYTHING.
When I run low on free hard drive space, I burn 3 copies of older files onto CD-R disks.
This is for archival purposes.
You have 1 copy to use, 1 to save, and a backup.

I recommend that you save the installer for any program or plug-in that you find to be useful.
That way, it is much easier to setup a new system, or recover from a drive crash.
