mpeg audio

By clomness ·
I have spent numerous hours putting together a ppt presentation complete with sound and slides. I have converted ppt to mpeg and have tried burning it onto both CD and DVD to play in a stand-alone player. With the CD, I burn using a data file and the pictures come out great, but there's no background music. It's there when I play it on my PC using Windows Media Player, but when I burn the exact same file to disc, no sound. So, I tried burning the mpeg file AND the mp3 file on the same disc, but the DVD player will only allow to play one or the other, not both. Then when I've tried burning to DVD, I either get the video playing as a thumbnail or an unreadable disc. I've also gone into the properties before burning to make sure the audio is checked to play the background music, but still no luck. PLEASE!! HELP!!!!! What do I need to do to ensure the music plays with the video presentation?

you have muted your CD audio. Open the volume control from the system tray and just enable the CD Audio volume control. It should work as you are able to play file in WMP on your local machine.
