MS Acces to SQL Server Migration

By satsua ·
I am assisting a small firm in moving from using Access97 to Access2000 and SQL Server
7.0.
I am in the process of converting their
front end into an access project to set
it up as a client to the SQL Server.
The former designer of the database was effective at using Access, but his methods
are not effective for this new format.

Was wondering if there was an easier and faster way to take the saved queries in the Access97 database and employ them in the
new project without out havingto re-create them. These queries are used to generate results from combo boxes in forms to reporting to data exchanges with Excel and
Word merges.

If any of you have gone through this change
please let me know what worked for you and how successful it was.

Thank you
