MS Access 2000 Expression Builder

By Ldufresne19 ·
While using Access97 I became comfortable using the expression builder when building code statements in VBA to obtain the proper syntax for form and sub form field properties and methods.

I have now been using Access 2000 and when in VBA I cannot find a way to open the expression builder from within VBA.

Is there a way to open expression builder in Access 2000 VBA?

If not, Is there an easy way to obtain the proper syntax when selecting form fields and properties in VBA.

MS Access 2000 Expression Builder

From Access help menu...
(bring up help, then type "expression builder")

Start the Expression Builder in the query design grid or a macro condition
You can start the Expression Builder in a Field or Criteria cell in query Design view or in the Condition column of the Macro window.

Right-click where you want to insert the expression.

On the shortcut menu, click Build.
Note If the cell or Condition column where you start the Expression Builder already contains a value, that value is automatically copied into the expression box.
