MS Access cannot enter “Withe” as text

In MS Access 2000 & 97 a user cannot enter the word “Withe” in a box that has been defined as text.

“Withe” gets truncated automatically to “With”.

It’s as though Access thinks “Withe” should be the keyword “With”.

For information, “Withe” happens to be a surname
