A user is trying to use a MS Access front end that is stored on a network drive; the Access .mdb file is used by others however when this user attempts to open the file she is prompted for a password though none has been set on this database.
The MS KB states that this error is due to the user having previously attempted to open a database with visual basic or an otherwise non access program. The only solution MS posits is to copy the database to another blank DB; this is not feasible. Nor do I believe that this user has attempted to open the database with anything but access.
