MS Excahnge help sought

We have begun to host applications and sites on our own servers,along with server space, we also give email id’s to our customers.
I want to know how to configure it
We are presently using trial version of imail server by ipswitch, but that is posing a problem. I want to know how to do it on MS exchange server 5.5, on Windows 2000 servers.
