MS Excel 2003 cell positioning

I have a hyperlink to a cell within the same worksheet. I don’t want to jump to another worksheet or file, just another location in the worksheet. What I am having trouble with is having excel jump to the cell and display it in the upper left corner. I seem to remember Lotus 123 would do this automatically. Again, to be clear – if I jump to cell D40, I want the window to display cell D40 as the first row, first column in view.
