MS Excel VLOOKUP function

By nicholasP ·
I am using the VLOOKUP function in Excel to lookup values in another spreadsheet and it works fine, except when the spreadsheet does not have a value for one of the lookups, it gives me yesterdays value instead of an "#NA".

Is there a way to force the spreadsheet to give all values an #NA before it looks to see what values are available? Any other ideas?

thanks

MS Excel VLOOKUP function

The form for VLookup is:
VLOOKUP(value,table,column,range_lookup).
If you use False as the fourth parameter, the function will return N/A if an exact match can not be made.
