MS Exchange 5.5 and greetings

By johnc ·
How does one tack on a greeting to all outgoing messages using exchange at the server level, not at the client (outlook) level by means of a personal signature? I need to put an ad of sorts at the bottom of all outgoing email from our server. Any ideas?

You can either use IMS extensions, which come with the Back Office Resource Kit (imsext.dll) or a third-party program.

You can get imsext.dll and basic instructions, as well as info about a third-party add-in that does the same job, here:

Hope this helps!

This helped me in that I was aware of the MS fix for 5.5, but the article shows how to actually write the text which was helpful. That and the 3rd party software might be helpful. Thanks
