In our organization we are using MS EXCHANGE 5.5 and outlook 97 as clients. Previously we loaded Exchange server in Compaq Prosignia 200 server with 4.1GB STORAGE SPACE with backup device (2/4GB HP 4mm tape). In that server our information storage exceeded the
the storage limit.To increase the storage space we added new HDD with 18 GB capacity.
Before installing the new Hard Disk we took
on line NT Backup for the exchange server.
After the installation of new Hard Disk, we
installed NT, NT SERVICE PACK and then installed MS EXCHANGE SERVER with same company name , Machine name, Drive name and Site name.
After the installation we restored the Directory information,Information Store
and other *.edb files.
After recovery of the abovedata we started
the MS EXCHANGE 5.5 ADMINISTRATOR. It gives the error as follows

Verify that the MS Exchange services are started in the machine
ds_e_insufficient_acess_rights
While trying to start the exchange services
it is giving following errors.
“could not start the Information Store service on \\exchange_server
error 2156”
With the online backup and the setup is it possible to recover our Organisation’s information store functionally? Can you suggest some online backup recovery tips.
